This cancellation, return, and refund policy sets out the procedures and policies for accepting cancellations, returns, and refunds of purchased Products.
By agreeing to use the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the terms contained in this Policy. If the User does not agree to the terms contained in this Policy, the User is strongly advised not to transact on the Website.
Home Machanics may from time to time change the terms of the Policy that governs the Website. The User is advised to check the Policy to ensure an understanding of the applicable terms and conditions.
Cancellation of Products
The User may cancel orders for Products before the issuing and processing of the invoice about such Products by Home Machanics. Orders cannot be canceled once the invoice has been processed and issued.
The User may cancel the placed purchase order by requesting HomeMachanics to process a cancellation by sending an email to the address given under ‘Contact Information’ below and thereafter making a phone call to the number given under ‘Contact Information’ below.
On receipt of the cancellation request before issuing and processing the invoice, Home Machanics shall cancel the order and initiate the refund for the Products within 10 business days from the receipt of the cancellation request from the User.
Return of Products
The User may initiate a request for a return of the Product if the Product is damaged, parts of the Product are missing or the Product received by the User is different from what was ordered basis the Product description provided on the Website . Such request may be initiated by sending an email to the address given under ‘Contact Information’ below and thereafter making a phone call to the number given under ‘Contact Information’ below. The User shall initiate such requests for a return within 5 business days from the date on which the User receives delivery of the Product failing which HomeMachanics shall accept the return of the Product at its sole discretion.
The User shall keep the Products in their unused, original condition, along with the outer box and original accessories in manufacturer packaging for a successful return pick-up. HomeMachanics will accept the request for the return of such Product subject to the terms of this Policy.
If the User has received any Product that is eligible for return under this Policy, Home Machanics advises the User to immediately register a request in this regard by email to the address given under ‘Contact Information’ below and thereafter making a phone call to the number given under ‘Contact Information’ below. HomeMachanics will in its sole discretion verify the eligibility of the Product for return under this Policy and thereafter accordingly accept or reject the return request. For such verification, HomeMachanics may request the User to send images of the damaged or Non-Compliant Product received and/or allow HomeMachanics personnel to schedule a visit to assess the damage or non-compliance of the Product. Further to the assessment of the damage or non-compliance reported in the return request, HomeMachanics may in its sole discretion resolve the issue in such manner as Home Machanics may deem fit.
The User’s return will be processed only when the following conditions are fulfilled at the time of return of such Products – the Product being returned in original condition, along with the price tag intact including original packaging of the product, the brand outer packaging of the Non-Compliant Product and all accessories therein, no damage has occurred post-delivery of the Product while in the User’s possession.
The User agrees that Home Machanics will not accept the return of any Product if the User fails to register a complaint about a Product within the Return Period.
Notwithstanding anything stated in this Policy, Home Machanics reserves the right to reject the return request for a Product at its sole discretion. Return of purchased Products is facilitated through our reverse logistics partners. On receipt of the request for the return of the Product and the same being duly acknowledged by HomeMachanics, the reverse logistics partners will collect the purchased Products from the User. However, Home Machanics reserves the right to collect the Products without engaging any Logistic Partners.
Refund of Payment for Products
Upon a successful request for return or cancellation of the Products, the User may seek a refund for the amount paid for the Product. Such refund may be made to the User only in the event the full payment has been received by HomeMachanics for the Product.
The refund amount for Products that are eligible for return as per the terms of this Policy, as determined by HomeMachanics in its sole discretion, will be processed within 14 business days from the date HomeMachanics accepts the request for the return of the Product.
The refund amount, if any, will be credited to the original payment mode opted by the User. The User acknowledges that after initiation of the refund, it may take additional time for the refund amount to reflect in the User’s account.
Any refund to be made to the User shall not include any amount paid towards shipping charges or any other such charges applicable from time to time.
Notwithstanding anything stated in this Policy, Home Machanics reserves the right to accept, partially accept, or reject a refund request for a Product at its sole discretion upon assessment of the Product under its return. Home Machanics may in such cases notify the User and send the returned Product back to the User without initiating a refund.
Modification
HomeMachanics reserves the right to modify this Policy from time to time. The Policy shall be updated on the Website. Home Machanics encourages all Users to review this Policy whenever they visit the Website.
Severability
If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force and effect as if this Policy had been executed with the invalid portion eliminated.
Governing Law
The terms of this Policy shall be governed and construed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute arising out of this Policy, the same shall be adjudicated by the sole arbitrator appointed by Home Machanics, as per provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of arbitration shall be Mumbai and the language will be English.
